    MOST DVD player now available

    It is available from Oasis SiliconSystems ( web page), maker of the MOST IC and other MOST components and development tools. It would seem the IC was designed and manufactured here in Austin.

    The DVD player seems a little odd, as if it is really meant to be an OEM piece for some other manufacturer or system integrator.

    Isn't the PCM II a DVD-based system? you would think a simple software upgrade would allow you to watch DVDs through it?

    The navagation portion of PCM II is CD ROM based. In the US it uses two CD's; one Eastern and one Western.
