    It's being reported that the car has serious reliability and drivability problems and there is a question whether it will be produced. Given AM tenuous financial problems, this car may be on the cutting block.

    I really hope it doesn’t get scrapped. 

    I think it would be such a major PR disaster for Aston that they will push it out the door, even if it is not really the car that was originally promised.

    Vettel will constantly need to prove himself to retain the Nbr. 1 driver position over Stroll.  Lawrence Stroll is a successful businessman and realizes that winning valuable points is more important than promoting his son’s career.  The outcome of Aston Martin is now predicated on doing well in Formula One.

    The question you had posed was first driver, not does Stroll belong on the team.  He remains on the team until he costs too much and that could happen this season.

    I'm not sure about that as now a core investment includes Aston-Martin.  That racing program is a crucial component in the strategic plans to rebuild the brand.  Those pockets are only so deep.
