M3 faster than a 911 Carerra S???
Hey guys,
While at work slacking and trying to pass the hours of doing pointless analytical work... I came upon this. Now, I know the 08' M3 does have a more powerful engine than a 911 C2S... but I think we all agree that it's brakes, weight, and suspension are not even in the same league as a porsche 911.
I came upon this little tidbit from the test drives that are going on in Spain... (It's posted on Autospies... sometimes they are right and sometimes they are wrong; however, they have a person that posts on autospies that is there RIGHT NOW and is testdriving the M3).

) that new M3 is faster on the Nordschleife then 997 Carrera S... Since we all know that 997 Carrera S(-20mm/LSD, PCCBs) achived 8.05min in von Saurma hands(from Sport Auto) that implies that new M3 Ring time is around 8.00-8.04min
