    Porsche should make RC TEST DRIVER

    BTW RC"s dealer is reading this forum also and saw that RC is having "pressure lately"
    Thats not good for your negotiation position for the new Cayenne.
    As you said before you where not interested in the Cayenne they start calling you and when you are interested they give you a very low resale for your car (typical car salesmen tactics)
    The best tactic is now go to let the salesman know you are interested in a other high class SUV (Mercedes,BMW)
    After a while they start calling again.

    Guys, thanks for trying to help and keep my spirits up and running.
    The problem I have is that there is only one Porsche dealer in my town. Another problem is the fact, that no matter what dealer in Germany sells me a car, he has to pass his commission (service, etc.) to my dealer. Incredible? Indeed.
    My dealer has one of the old contracts with Porsche where there is a so called "dealer protection" to avoid dealers losing customers to other dealer which are for example bigger and can afford better prices. It also has to do with service and how much Porsche pays the dealers to service the cars. A pretty complicated thing, I'm sure any American would cry out loud if such a thing would exist in the US.
    Or to explain it with a few short words: no matter what dealer in Germany sells me a Cayenne Turbo, my dealer actually earns on it. So no other dealer is really interested in selling me a car because they earn almost nothing on it.

    Not fair? Not customer friendly? Right. But there is nothing I can do about it.

    Why not sell the E55 yourself and buy the Cayenne Turbo abroad.
    Maybe you could get a good deal.
    Perhaps a 9-10% discount?

    Even if I sell the E55 myself, there is still the problem with dealer switching. A friend told me about 8% rebate on a Cayenne Turbo at his dealer (my dealer doesn't move above 3%) but as I said in my post before, no dealer really wants to sell me a Cayenne Turbo because of that stupid contract my local dealer has with Porsche.
