    C4S allocation woes

    Anyone know of a dealer that has an unfilled allocation for a C4S in the New York area?
    Gave a deposit for an '07 C4S, in May, only to be told, today, that they didn't get a C4S allocation and probably wouldn't receive one until sometime in the first quarter of next year.

    Does it have to be in NY? My dealer has several C4Ss on the lot....so I'm pretty sure he has allocations available. He sold a 4S to a guy from Chicago a few weeks ago.

    I notice that there are several dealers in the Metro NY area with '06 C4S's on their lots but believe that inventory "woes" has nothing to do with future availability. Please correct me if this assumption is not valid.
    Specifically, I am trading in a vehicle making out-of-town dealers significantly inconvenient.

    Is it possible that TT demand is putting a dent in AWD parts availability for the lower profit C4 and C4S?

    TT and C4S use a different AWD system.

    I'm almost POSITIVE Prestige Porsche in Nanuet has.
    There's a salesman there that is a Porsche nut like us (this really helps), he's got a 997 turbo etc. You can say I sent you if you want, he knows my ID here.
