    Exhaust: twin or oval?

    Just a little poll, I will upgrade the exhaust on my TT cab and would like to know what you guys (and girl) prefer here:

    The first owner of my 2003 x50 ordered the car with the twin pipes. When i bought the car i asked the dealer to change them and mount the oval pipes.
    He smiled. I think i was not the first one who asked him this.

    Had the twin pipes on my old car and didn't like the way that they looked. On this one I elected not to change them because, in my opinion, the oval tips really suit the car's rear bumper cutouts.

    Yea I'm also leaning more and more towards the oval ones

    Sorry with twin exhausts I thought you meant twin '993 Turbo S' style, cuz' that would be very nice...

    Anyway if you mean the Porsche PSE tips I would prefer it above the oval ones too....
    (don't like to see that smaller hole inside the oval exhaust.

    Any pictures of that amazing TT yet?

    Decision made, oval it will remain ;-)

    Not yet Porker, I should have it tomorrow but then it's another week for the Europipes Stage 2 exhaust and another week (or 2) for the Sportec Mono10 rims.

    I just ordered the twin pipes from TechArt, as I like those better than the standard ones.

    The twin pipes are very nice BUT you might want to look at a few cars who actually have it installed. On nearly all of them you will find the part that connects the 2 holes to be very dirty. I have been told that after a 10 minute drive this can already occur.

    Hi Rhamy, my nick actually comes from Ramirez which is a Spanish name. Since I'm Belgian not Spanish I'll tell you how I got that name: about 10 years ago I kinda looked like Ramirez (Sean Connery) in Highlander. And thus all of a sudden I was being referred to as Ramirez. In a later stage I changed this to Rami myself

    Mine are painted black like my wheels, so it wouldn't make much difference.

    I just got these put on my car I waited 7 months for these, and was the first one in the US on the waiting list since TechArt ran out last year. I don't have pics of my car yet though.

    Here's a pic. I used a high temp paint that is very textured and thick. Its been on for a year now and looks great.

    I suspect you have black interior with yellow seatbelts and dials?
