Mike am not sure about washing it down with a pressure washer. I would check with Ferrari. I have found that a wet rag will do a good job in wiping off dust and water spots. I wipe down the manifolds and the entire engine compartment. The key is to do this after every wash. It is a pain but worth the effort.
BTW, do you have the CF engine bay? If so, it certainly requires weekly maintenance to keep it looking clean.

Nope, no CF engine bay. It's hard to reach some spots with a rag, I wash the Exige's engine bay after each wash(not like I have a choice), as there is no water proof cover over the engine. I just have the engine a little warm before I spray it down.

I've posted this several times but FoOC spray a cold engine with a hose then wash with a soapy mit, rinse and blow dry. No need for any gunky chemicals. It works great, I've done it several times. You don't want to do it too often for fear of getting water somewhere it shouldn't be.

As Nick said, a wet cloth will do. Just wipe away the waterdrops after every car wash. I wouldn't use high pressure in the engine bay. If the engine is just dusty, use a garden hose with normal pressure and then wipe it clean with the cloth afterwards.

You can use it on every part of the car's exterior, even glass. (has lubricates but does not streak) Works great in the engine bay too. Is fantastic on paint, aluminum etc. Much better than just water/wet towel. I use it on my bikes too, it's great for chrome. For me it's the single most used car car product. Have the gallon jug that I keep in my gararge, the 35 oz size that I use after washing my car to touch up spots and keep the smallest size bottle (8 oz) in each car. Tried all types of towels and found these micro fiber cloths to work absolutely best w/ the above speed shine:

I know it says "Micro Fiber Polish Removal Cloths" but they work unbelievable w/ the above speed shine, they're softer & thicker/ better than the other cloths they also recommend. That's the combo I use in my CF CS engine bay and entire car. Try the combo (speed shine w/ the yellow micro fiber cloth) and I guarantee you'll be hooked for life:

Didn't know it was that dirty..I would use a soapy (car wash soap) micro fiber towel, a hose set on mist (not high pressure) to get off the majority of dust/dirt. Be careful there aren't dirt particles trapped in the towel....You know what 'scratch' that.... Use a real boars hair brush w/ a handle and small head/ dunk in bucket w/ car wash soapy water. This would work best.

Afterwards when you get the majority of dust dirt cleaned you can then use speed shine.
