    Squeaking Brakes

    I have had this awesome car for almost 2 months and 1,200 miles and as I was out cruising over the weekend, the brakes started to squeak at every stop light. I thought it was something that would disappear very soon, but it's still around after 3 days of driving. Should the brakes be making this noise so early in the game? Should I have the dealer look at it or is it something that should work itself out over time?

    Try going to a safe place and doing a few very HARD 60 - 0 stops, that should clear the problem.

    Have the dealer look at it...if it's just brake squeak, then they'll apply some anti squeak paste on the contact points on the back of the pad......FYI brake squeal is not actually a squeal, its the pad vibrating against the caliper
