No, it is another green. It is currently in testing phase ..... but I do not know for which 911 variant it is programmed.
I have been told me later in the year, towards fall, so it is probably not the green on the GT3, unless things moved quicker . We will see if that is Python or not under that skin . If it is Python , then expect another green later in the year.

My guess is it will be a darker green, but maybe metallic . We had the Lizard ( discontinued ) , now the Python.

A non-metallic dark green would be nice to see.
Why offer it in the standard palette if idiots pay PTS premiums for it?

Because then Porsche will replace a normal color and stick it on the PTS list for $13k (like metallic White or Chalk or Racing Yellow or whatever)
They'll still get their slice

DaveGordon:Funny, was only 3 or so years back I don’t think there as a single green on offer. Since then we had Lizard, Mamba, Aventurine, Python, and soon another. Green times indeed
And when we went to trade in our '09 911 C2S in Racing Green (launch colour in 09 for the 997.2), the dealer said "wow, green eh? We don't get much call for those, might be hard to move on our lot...".

Hardest Porsche Ive had to sell (in our small market) these last 10 years was my Birch Green PTS GT4. Lots of friends and colleagues congratulated me on teh colour and said they liked it...till it came to sell....then it became clear they loved the fact SOMEONE ELSE was ballsy enough to buy a green car! Our market is super conservative. White, black, red and silver. Miami, Lava, Purple, Green and Yellow cars languish for the chance buyer here...a real shame we arent like Europe, UK and USA when it comes to the brighter colours on the GT cars...

Haha - yet another example of how NZ is not Australia; they lapped up all those eye searing met. orange Commodores etc... of course they did produce them then...

True. Australia is more akin to USA for tastes and personality. NZ is more akin to UK. Reserved. However in the last 10 years UK car buyers have become far more adventurous than NZ. Perhaps its a immigration thing. UK attracts alot of migrants from Europe and USA. NZ attracts migrants from Asia. Coulour preference in these core migration markets may infact correlate better than local homegrown preferences by way of volume and disposable income for such purchases...

Latest pictures from Florida today. Generally when cars are seen testing in NA pretty much without camoflauge they are within 6-8 weeks of being announced publicly, so expect a reveal any time between now and September....
