    Re: Forget PCCB's

"Compensate" is a wiley word. You're trading handling for cosmetics and whether or not that makes sense to you depends on which you consider more valuable.

    Re: Forget PCCB's

if i don't need the AWD for the bad weather conditions, i will take the the C2S. i have to say blowing 130k+ CAD on a car is already alot. the S is a big step up with many equipments standard for the extra 16k. I can't justify another 10k for the AWD which makes the car less involving and heavier. however, it looks better and feels safer to drive. it is a fact that the C4S has more grip on slippery roads.

    Re: Forget PCCB's

Test drive them both.. it is the only way for you to know exactly which one your will like the most... and test drive it in rain and on dry roads.

    Re: Forget PCCB's

Gnil, how do you find your C4S as a daily driver? =]
I know i won't regret by getting either but just wanna make sure that I'm getting the best out of the car with due to respect of the colder climate here.

Unless you have money to burn spend the $7K on track days and make a real difference to your performance. PCCB's don't stop you any shorter,

They don't stop shorter? Hummmm..., you mean they're not likely to make an accident less severe? Well..., that settles it for my exclusively road car brake usage.

I'm done, my decision has been made. No PCCBS for me, I'll just beat the cr*p out of my steel ones (kidding) and use the unspent money for brake service.

How many steel-rotor brake jobs can you get for us$7K?

I use my car every day of the year, sun, rain or snow. It is just perfect. I enjoy it under all conditions . It feels very safe . I do of course put winter tyres on from November to end of march.
I go to the supermarket to get groceries ( 3 big bags in the boot, the rest on the passenger seat )
I go skiing in the winter. My skies fit in the inside of the car!
I have 3 small children, I fit on in the front ( with airbag deactivated), two in the back !!!
With the C4S it is 100 % safe to drive all year long for sure.
But again..go and try both out. The C2S will be ok in snow too, just not as safe and planted.

    Here are a few pics

The color of my car is Seal grey, but it is no longer available ( only as a special color and that costs lots of $ ) It has been replaced by meteor grey.
