That car was on the scene way too early to attract customers. Wasn't it at the time when the Lamborghini Miura came out? I wouln't have considered to use such a car instead of the later...

Interesting though, that this concept was developed by two graduates of HfG Ulm, which was founded after second WW and with an intellectual approach as opposed to the Nazi regime's frenetic ideology. Car designers back at that time surely had different cars in mind than something like that - the chronological distance to Giugiaro's, Renault's and Chrysler's approaches reg. that vehicle concept.
