    3 series coupe.... finally, bmw got it right.

    reminds me alot of the mercedes CLK- more of a silky smooth molded piece of metal instead of the way it used to look- rather chunky and somewhat sharp angles.

    looks more like the old 3 series than the new one.

    I love it. The grill is CORRECT- opposed to that batman-ish grill that they made on the sedan version. The lights are probably better and have new technology. The front is aggressive... the back most likely looks more sporty. I WANT ONE!! bring on the convertibles!

    I like the front end; however I HATE it that new "compact" or smaller cars are getting bigger and bigger. just look at how well proportioned the front wheel size is when looking at the front of the car compared to the rear wheel. Another perfect example is the new VW Jetta-the thing looks like its riding on 13" rims!!!

    I'm not bashing the styling-i like it; but i think some of the proportioning is out-of-wack

    Looks nice -- a good balance between clean, elegant lux lines and sporty aggressiveness. I'm sure it'll do well.

    Yuck - looks like a Honda Accord Coupe or other " safe ' Asian car designs , with dated early-mid 90s " rounded sides " which also remind me of why I'm gettting rid of my MBZs gradually. Much prefer the crisper, tailored look of the 5 series flanks .

    hmmm. mind you it took me a long time before i got used to the look of the new 5 series... now i like it!
    but i just don't see how i'd ever get used to the look of the new 3 series!!

    speaking about M5's.... I finally saw and heard one the other day while walking... AND OMG!!! it sounds EXACTLY like it does on top gear-- the thing YELLS!!! evne at maybe 2k rpm it was yelling and sounded like nothing else I have ever heard. Truly- it kinda makes me think of a Ferrari with the pitch that it had.

    Never liked the new CLK (liked the first one though..) so I don't like this one. But I'm sure it's a photoshop. Even BMW would not create something as ugly as this

    looks like the front wheels are almost under the headlights... and the rear looks HUGE...

    I was the same. In fact I would have even called the 5 an ugly car. Now I think it looks good.

    I'm not too impressed with this photo as the next 3 coupe, althought I don't dislike it. I hope the actual production car will look better.
