    From headers to the exhaust tips,  the complete system is installed on the car. I haven't had a chance to test the performance of the system yet. But the tone and the loudness of the exhaust is just right. Throttle blips on downshifts are much louder. You don't need to put the car on a dyno to see the power increase. You just see that once you step on the throttle. M3's American muscle car V8 sound is changed into high revving italian style exhaust note.

    Before the Akra. I had BMC filter on the car. However, after the Akra. the intake roar between 3000 rpm to 4000 rpm increased so much that the noise annoyed me. I'm surprised to see how the exhaust changed the intake noise so much but I went back to stock filter since I use the 3000-7000 rpm range the most. I can't describe the changed louder intake roar, but it was very loud and more pronounced on higher gears.

    Next week, I'll have a software tune on the car; ESS or EVOTECH. After the software, I hit my target of 290hp/ ton

    Oh man i can only imagine how sweet it sounds now, it looks fantastic

    When i said that it could affect acceleration, i meant that would be a great bonus. I know you did this for weight and sound purposes. And im 100% with ya, a sweet exhaust system is one of the single greatest mods you can do to a sporty car to make it make you smile that much more driving it!

    indeed shifting is ancient technology - so is a fuel burning engine..  I happen to like both :)

    The M3 owners from the states are pulling a tad more than 400 whp on the dyno with intake/full exhaust/tune/pulley bolt-on mods. This is around 480 hp at the crank with 17% tranny lost.

    I just changed back my BMC filter with my OEM filter because of the increased resonance/intake roar between 3000-4000 rpm. However, I expect to hit 460 hp at the crank just with the full exhaust and software tune. Stock 4 cats are very restrictive when compared with Akra. 100 cell cats. Exhaust emissions wise, OEM 4 cats are necessary. I can easily smell unburned fuel with Akra. setup. Well, at least I have stop&start technology to be friendly with the nature SmileySmiley

    With my mods (Performance seats and full Akra.) I have saved 40 kg~88 lbs from the curb weight which help to lower the weight under 1600 kg. Once I put the car on scale, I'll post the result. I expect it to be just under 1590 kg~3500 lbs with 90% fuel without me.

    Because of the new Turkish vendor of Akrapovic, who is my friend, I waited for a while. Their first party order was delayed by 2,5 months. Well, good things come to those who wait Smiley

    BTW, Mike, do you also have that resonance/ loud intake roar between 3000-4000 rpm. (Since you also have aftermarket filter.) ?

    Or maybe you have difficult time to remember how your M3 sound after the purchase of your latest toys SmileySmiley

    I do pride. The Dinan filter I have in makes it even louder than the BMC.

    OMG, that sound.. It gave me goozebumps, so nice! BMW have always sounded amazing, now this exhaust makes that 10x better on top. Very nice sound mate. Great upgrade for the M3.

    Tell you the truth I don't trust custom tune in Turkey. Evotech and ESS already have tune for specifically for Akra. EVO. So I'm fine with it. I'm not after the last couple of horses. I'm after a reputable company not to risk the engine. They all gain about 20hp in average and most importantly get rid of that stupid speed limiter at 270 km/h at which I forget how many times I hit. Smiley

     The build quality looks amazing and the sounds is just incredile. Great tune-up! its amazing to see how much more emotions a car produce with the right sound!

    It is really important part of the emotions. The sound makes the car alive. It doesn't have to be too loud. But the tone and the level of the sound is very important. Also it reminds you that you are driving a sports car. Well, sports sedan I mean Smiley

    I didn't know that Evorech and ESS already have prepared tune for M3 with Akrapovic exhaust. In that case you will get well tested software with similar power gain, so is better option than custom software Smiley
