    Sports seats or xenons????

    Comes down to a choice with my budget for my 987 spec.

    Both cost roughly the same, sowhich would you go for?? I am currently tending towards the Sprots seats (which are excellent), but would also like the Xenons, as would be doing a lot of driving at night (nature of job!!).

    Off course, I could ignore the bank manager and go for both, but would appreciate opinions.

    Xenons, all the way, the sports seats look great but IMO they don't perform, They can also be a tad unconfortable depending on your girth, I've wide shoulders and I just found they pinched too much.... The Xenons do the job..

    Xenons every time, especially as you do a lot of night driving.

    Agreed - I was regretting not having ordered the sports seat prior to collecting the car - but am now glad I hadn't as the normal seats are plenty grippy enough. I have broad sholders but a normal girth thank you!

    Totally agree. With a high performance car you need all the vision you can get - and that means Xenon's.

    I had xenons instead of sports seats and after 400 miles since Tuesday.....wich I had the seats as I am pretty unhappy with the standard seats!!!! Not enough lateral support!!!

    Horses for courses though!!!

    Xenons a better choice. The standard seats are fine. Have spent upto 10 hours in the car and the standard seats are great, no complaints.

    The standrad lights work too!!! Much more "value" in sports seats.

    OK so your lights dazzle on coming vehicles and look cool........i'd prefer more supportive sets!! (and no I am not a lardy......6' 13.5st)

    I'd go for the seats. Xenons don't add anything to resale but the seats will give your car that wow factor for used buyers. Get both though... whats another Pounds700 or so when you've already spent Pounds38k plus. You'll only regret not getting one of these options.

    When you start going fast around corners it's easy to outrun your headlights. Xenons can save your life but seats can't.

    I ordered both. I hadn't tried the sports seats prior to ordering, but I read they were great, and being of slim build I felt the sports seats might do a better job of holding me in place during 'spirited' driving. That said, during my one hour test drive the standard seats were very comfortable.

    if it really comes down to budget, xenons

    you can add sport seats later.

    xenons, if you add later, you will miss out on a sensor that cannot be retrofitted.
