All options possible from aftermarket companies. All void the warranty, except the X51 conversion for S models from Porsche themselves. I think that can be retrofitted.

Sport exhaust and airflow kit do not void the warranty is what I was told by my dealer. Specially if they install it. They are offering to install for me Tubi exhaust. I asked what would happen if I have it installed outside. It shouldn't be an issue. I don't know about other dealers tohugh.

In the US, nothing will void the warranty unless it can be proven BY THE DEALER that the aftermarket part is the cause of the problem. It's called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

The important point is that it's up to the dealer to PROVE that your aftermarket exhaust, spring, shock, etc is the source of the problem.

Of course, let me now caveat that statement, as I haven't read my manual that closely. If the manual states in writing that aftermarket parts void the warranty, then it does. If the manual doesn't state that, you're fine.

Interesting: in Europe this is not the case.

That's up for debate with the sports chrono options and the lap timers......and even track diagrams in the owner's manuals.

My observation is that, in Europe at least, repairs are not paid for under warranty if damage or extraordinary wear and tear result from abuse arising during track use, for instance, damaged clutches or valve trains due to mis-shifted gears, prematurely worn synchro rings due to not opening the clutch correctly, overheated brakes due to poor braking technique, etc..
Track use of a car does lead to accelerated wear-and-tear, especially in the hands of less experienced drivers. It doesn't sound unreasonable to me that such accelerated wear-and-tear should be repaired at the expense of those who consciously choose to subject their cars to that use and not at the general expense of all those other owners who might be more inclined to look after their cars.
Don't misunderstand me. I am in no way against tracking cars. I just think that people should go down that road with their eyes wide open and if they feel they can't pay the costs which might arise then they should take up playing checkers instead.
