Thank you all for the kind words

Now that you’ve had her for a few days, what are your thoughts on the driving experience as compared to the GTS? Do you think you’ll miss the torque and back seats? Was the GTS a PDK car?
Great question. I have spent 3-4 hours behind the wheel now so a quick comparison is due.
In summary, the driving experience is engaging, analog and quirky
Let me explain.
Engaging, the GT4 is a car that you drive, the GTS was more a car where you were being driven. There is a different connection to the GT4, a lot more close, a lot more direct, a lot more involving. Hence a lot more engaging and as long as this is what you are looking for, then it is also more fun. The exhaust note from the GT4 is far better than the GTS turbo PSE. So aggressive, so loud. It is crazy they got the car approved with such a loud exhaust. Love it! As means of transportation the GTS was much broader. A more complete package. Highway cruiser in normal mode, track weapon in sport plus mode. Is the GT4 better or worse, it simply depends on your preference. Engaging can also become tiring on longer trips.
Analog, the GT4 is an analog experience, while the GTS was more a digital experience. The steering, the suspension, the gearbox. It is all mechanical, hard, rattling and shaking. Like an old air cooled 911 in new clothes. The GTS low end torque and near perfect PDK shifting makes the GT4 feel like it comes from a different era.
Quirky, the GT4 long gearing does make itself very prominent coming from the GTS with PDK. It is far from perfect, but also has a charm to it. PerfectIon can turn into boredom, and I feel that many new cars are too perfect.
To your questions. Will I miss the torque? No, I don’t think so. With the right gear and RPM the GT4 moves plenty for public roads. Will I miss the rear seats? No, now I take one kid at a time and for trips with all family and luggage there is the Audi S6.
All in all, I was looking for a more engaging and special experience, for mainly public roads with occasional track use and without breaking the bank account. For this I think the GT4 ticks all boxes.
