So it's finally here! I take delivery on Friday if all goes well :) Looks much better in person than I expected from the Pictures and very happy with the GT Silver color choice. First time I ever own a silver car :) here are some pictures for you guys!!
Minor issues, the car came with Goodyears which pissed me off, I wanted the Michelins, is there anything we can do about this? Small ding on the rear diffuser, very difficult to notice, but they've ordered a new one to replace it for me.

I saw your car in the showroom and I understood it was yours before you posted today. A very successful choice of colour for my preference too. Carbon roof and mirror tops are good additions 
I don't know if the other GT3 in front is sold or not, but can't they exchange tyres between the two if a different tyre brand is fitted?

Nice going! Don’t worry about Goodyears (they are made in Germany and rebranded Dunlop Race Maxx2 which many people prefer to Cup2). If you take the car to the track a few days, you’ll be ready for new tires and you can choose whichever brand you prefer

Congrats, great looking car. 
Regarding the tires: Only your dealer can do something about it, offer you a special price for new Cup 2 or whatever.
Are you member of a Porsche Club? Maybe they have a special deal with Michelin (Porsche Club Germany has as far as I remember)?
Or maybe he can swap the wheels from one car to another (if the rims are the same), not sure if the tires are mentioned somewhere in the car's dealer documentation.
Removing the tires from the rims and switching them is not a good idea (actually, this is not allowed with these types of tires), you risk driving on damaged tires and I think I do not have to explain the consequences to you.

Hi Reginos,
you saw it before I did :) The other one is a customer car is equipped with the Michelins, and heading to UK I believe like most of the cars ordered from Cyprus. I wouldn't be surprised if out of the 10 cars, mine is the only one staying here. I've done some research on the two tires, and the goodyears would be better suited for track use from my understanding as they are the grippier of two. However the tread life is much lower on the goodyears, and seeing that I will mainly use my car on the road it would make sense to switch them. The other car in slate gray has the roll cage so I'm assuming it will be tracked properly. Reginos, PM me if you want and we can exchange details and meet up since we are both locals.
My previous dealer in Lebanon has switched tyres and rims for me from their own stock cars, but I don't think this is a stock car, so they would probably have to ask the other owner.

Those Goodyears are not real Goodyears, just like Grant explained. They are the Dunlop Race Max rebranded.
They are excellent tire. Better in the wet the Michelin. As you will not track this car you will probably not even see any difference.
Both my RS came with the Dunlops. I was as happy with them as with the Michelin and they actually lasted longer.

Agreed. I would go for the Cup 2 R anyway for track usage but no sense to spend money on new tires for nothing.

Hey folks, a bit off topic but I am interested in the reasons there is such a delay in 992s being produced and delivered, particularly for the U.S. I live in the largest Porsche dealer sales area in the U.S. , and no dealer has had any new production 992s or any model since last summer at least. I am aware of the worldwide "chip" problem, and backups at U.S. ports, but what else if anything is going on? And does anyone know when allocations and deliveries will start up normally again?
