    TPMS retrofit on rims

    There are many options to but used 20" rims for the Cayenne, but most of them do not have TPMS (RDK). Is it possible to retrofit the system to those rims? How much would it cost?

    If your car has tpm-receiver it shouldn't be any problem. You just need the sending unit installed in the rims. I think there are different frequencys, make sure you get the same as your cars receiver.

    Is your Cayenne already equipped with the TPMS system? If so then adding sending units to new wheels is no big deal, just move the sending units in your existing wheels to the 20" wheels.

    If TPMS was not factory installed then you're out of luck. A retrofit of the receivers in each wheelwell and the associated wiring harnesses, electronics, installation and programming would be cost prohibitive.
