    ResB:

I've watched this a number of times now and initially I thought it was SV fault.

However, if you watch at the very beginning of this clip, MW takes the right hander before the straight, he then starts to line himself up for the left hander.  The clip shows that SV has more speed out of the same right hander and is able to start to overtake MW, but MW notices this and deliberately moves back towards the left of the track to make it particularly tight for SV.

That, as I understand it, is deliberately blocking and not allowed albeit, technically, hSV was able to get down the LHS of him.  This is suppose means that MW didn't completely block him but he might as well have.

I think SV has a case, but a racing incident and two championship contenders not wanting to give way to one another.

Thanks, that is pretty evident from the footage. I watched it many times, and SV was definitely faster and on the inside of the next turn. MW had come out of the right turn and was ligning up to the right to take the upcoming left, but when noticing SV went back way over to the left, leaving less than enough space.. I dunno how you guys can draw Vettel to take the blame here Smiley I think it was Webber 70% fault and Vettel 30%. RB Boss agrees for obvious reasons.

In F1, the driver is allowed to change line on the straight once, but he can't do zigzags.

Interesting view on Webber vs Vettel from James Allen

    http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/

And from the BBC's Mark Hughes on Hamilton vs Button

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/8714706.stm

What amuses me is how so many were focussing on the intra-team rivalries (and potential disharmony) between Hamilton and Button, Alonso and Massa, Schumi and Rosberg but the rivalry that has boiled over first has been at Red Bull - I love how F1 can always spring surprises

The other smaller issue I noticed after this race is for how much longer Liuzzi will survive in F1 if he goes on being outdriven by Sutil? Paul di Resta is waiting in the wings and Force India has not been shy about putting pressure on Liuzzi to perform by letting di Resta participate in Friday practice. I think Liuzzi's days are numbered.

Yes very middle ground unbiased analysis on his part, i hope the boys can put this behind them and not make this mistake again as a team. RBR needs the success and they deserve it, afterall they are OWNING Ferrari, Mercedes and Renault.

Apart from the opening race in Bahrain, F1 certainly hasn't been boring in 2010

Re: 2010 Turkish F1 Grand Prix

MK, United Kingdom — Formula One leader Mark Webber has signed a contract extension that will keep him with Red Bull Racing next season.

The team announced the deal Monday, meaning that Webber and teammate Sebastian Vettel will both be back next season.

Webber says it was "an easy decision" to remain with Red Bull.

The announcement comes just over a week after Webber and Vettel collided while leading in the Turkish Grand Prix, handing the race to McLaren drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.

Webber leads the championship by five points over Button, 93 to 88. Vettel is fifth with 78 points.

The communication error was that the drivers didn't get the team orders clearly enough via radio, that was the error, otherwise there wouldn't been any attempt of overtaking. I find this no team orders rule very hypocritical, just like when some teams say that both their drivers have equal chances and there is no team favorite... Smiley
