Too much in my opinion. It makes the Panamera look too aggressive and while this may acceptable (or even wanted) in certain markets, I don't think I would ever have this stuff on my car. Another point is that it looks a little bit aftermarket and this kind of destroys the original look of the Panamera. Not that I like it too much.

Overall, it looks ridiculous, with the wheels too big for the car to fit in the wells.
As such, I do like the ducktail on the panamera though. The question is; why would you want a ducktail spoiler on a GT car like this?

The rear of the Panamera is too round and aesthetically it needs something to balance the bulky shape.
The ducktail adds some needed angularity to the shape. As a functional appendage it may be unnecessary (a big folding wing already exists) and a bit odd on a limousine but appearance-wise it helps. The direct rear view is better with the ducktail. Also the side view is improved because the large bulbous rear slope is divided.
I hope Porsche address the bulky rear issue by adding some angles to the design (see the 991 horizontal line at the back to balance the larger butt), when facelift time comes.

Nope, this doesn't look good. 
The biggest problem of the Panamera rear is the convex shape of the window, if the rear window went down to the bumper more straight, things would look much, much better, without losing too much luggage space.

Its completely out of character for a vehicle like the Panamera, its just looks wrong, and not very classy. That said, from the pics you can deduce that a simple ducktail spoiler (without all the rest) may not look so bad as it breaks the controversial rear hump line of the Panamera, but we are back to square one again, there is the problem in that, what is a Carrera "duck tail" doing in a Panamera?

Exactly, until the new model comes out, Porsche must find a way at facelift time to disguise/ divide somehow the large curvature at the rear, the so-called hump. The ducktail is not the most appropriate solution in terms of character, but it shows the way it could be done.
