Well, the 991 is due spring 2011 or so.
Btw: if I had the money, I would get the new 997 GT3 RS. Absolutely amazing car. I would prefer the GT3 RS over ANY other Porsche right now.

Makes sense, though: lanch of 997GT2 in fall 2007, launch of 997GT2 Mk2 in fall 2010, launch of 991GT2 in fall 2013... Thus, the buyer who always orders the new version can drive it for three years and then switch to the updated version of the car
