    My bro ordered Italien. Same price for a new Tributo then for a GT3 RS WP. But I wonder how long he will like it after the  excitement of the fabulous power wears off.

    Any recommendation with colored Rev Counter on the 992 GT3?

    I am thinking of going with racing yellow tachometer but saw a review on reenlist regarding the difficulty to read the numbers when lit.

    One thing that affects weight quite a lot is the amount of fuel.  Do they use a standard amount before going on the scale?

    Did a two day Masterclass at Porsche Silverstone recently. I was lucky to have a brand new guards red 992 GT3 with PDK. Pretty sparingly optioned except for carbon interior and the fancy lights. Absolutely lovely. The instructors reckon it is a fairly noticeable improvement over the 991.2 GT3, especially in terms of steering and front end grip. Was absolutely lovely. There were a couple of turbo s’s around, very impressive machines but no wondering eye from me. Porsche have nailed the new GT3. Engine sound an improvement over the 991.2 btw.

    Does the leather interior add significant weight?

    Not sure what to do with ordering extended leather bits.  The standard car looks cheap without it.

    There are also leather bits for dashboard items and can't have the contrast stitching without the extended leather.

    I’ve had both the standard (gt3) and full leather (3RS) interior.  Didn’t really notice the difference except for the imperfections in the full leather interior…for my 992gt3 I went with the standard interior.

    Thank you for the input.  

    I think I will tick the extended leather as I don't want the plastic dashboard.  

    Which also makes it easier to fork out a few more $$$$ for the contrast stitching.  Smiley
