    Which one is better for track? Michelin PS2 (not cup) VS Pirelli Corsa tyres (semi-slick)

    you cant compare those 2 tyres, I in Italy use the corsas for the porsche formula club championship and are semi slicks.
    BUT PAY ATTENTION: the corsas are made in 2 different types.
    - the corsa system... more street
    - the corsa ....especially for track

    The pilot sport 2 is normal streeet tires what I know.
    You should only compare cup vs corsas

    But if you mean corsa system VS ps2 PIRELLI MUCH MORE track oriented.

    I'd still take the PS2s. On the track I prefer cups, or just go for Hoosier rain's

    Wet perforamnce is the only reason to select the Pirelli Corsa over PSCup - which is a great track tyre

    dry: sportcup best
    wet: corsa best ( with sportcup you have difficulties to stay on the track)

    ps2 is never a good chosie when comparing with corsa for track use and prestanda.

    Umm yea you are not going to want sport cups in the wet its no fun and very sketch. But otherwise they are amazing

    What should be the pressure for the Corsa (cold) on track? same as Porsche recommendation F:37 R:44

    I don't have direct experience with the Corsa's but you'll find that the factory recommended tire pressures are way overinflated for the track. Especially on a hot day.
    Experiment with lower pressures (gradually) and see what works best. Talk to more experienced drivers at the track and see what they're doing.

    depends on temperature, very hot =lower bar

    in bar at cold tyres
    front 1.8/ 1.9 rear 1.6/1.8
    after some laps check that it's not over 2.0/2.2

    there you have the best performances

    the Corsas work at 2.2 hot .
    you must put 1,7 front /1,6 rear with cold tires .
