RUF do a 400HP Cayman called 3400K Coupe, using the standard brakes. Don't bother and save the cost and get the wheels.

I assume you are referring to upgraded brake pads? Unless you attend a lot of track days there should be no need to do so. If you'd upgrade the engine to 997S specs (>50 add. hp) that's another story.
There are a couple of offers for mild tunings, usually a different exhaust & modified ECU. Not sure about those offerings in the UK but apart from a couple more horses the car should feel more lively at high RPMs.
