    GT3 Questions.

    1.Single Mass Flywheel. Can you put one on the GT3? Would u need to reprog the CPU? Would it make a noticeable difference in the revability of the motor?

    2.Cup Filter. Other than the sound, does it improve the performance of the GT3?

    3.Carbon Fibre Hood and Perspex rear screen. Would it make a noticeable difference in the nimbleness of the car? or is it a waste of money if you are not tracking the car?

    4.Equal length headers. Does anyone make equal legth headers for the 2003/2004 GT3?

    5. Lastly, is anyone working on a Program for the 2003/2004 GT3? And if so, does anyone have any info on what it may involve?

    Yes, you can. The 2004 GT3 RS uses a single mass flywheel. The same part could be installed on a regular GT3. You will notice a difference in how quickly the revs rise and fall.

    The Cup cone filter has no provision for the MAF, so it would be a lot of work and probably screw up your emissions to try an use one. Plus, why would you want to suck hot air out of the engine compartment?

    You are unlikely to notice a difference on the street. Plus the plastic rear window scratches easily and is difficult to see out of even when new. Over time it gets really hazy. I know, I had to replace the one on my Cup car because I couldn't see out of it any more.

    Call Turbo Performance Center. They reprogrammed my car and I got better mid-rpm throttle response and about 10 more HP at peak rpm.

    I think I will wait a bit until TechArt and FVD, finish with their experimentation on the GT3.
