CloseMy GT3 is a couple of weeks old. I've done about 1000 KM and done the first inspection at the dealer. What I noticed is that I can fill the tank with a maximum of 40 liters of fuel that is after the refill light comes up. The dealer recalibrated the fuel gage but still, the maximum I can do with a full tank is about 200KM and 40 liters to top up! Anyone has experienced such a thing?
If you live in a very hot climate it's possible that fuel vapors trapped in the tank are preventing it from filling completely. These vapors are supposed to be vented away, but sometimes, in my case at least,, they are not. Sometimes, if it's very hot outside, I can't get any fuel to go in at all! It just bubbles back up the fill tube. When that happens I have to carefully dribble it in over many minutes and even then I might not get a full tank. Once it is cooler outside, I don't have any more trouble. I never have mentioned it to the dealer. I keep forgetting.
