    Funny squeeling noise from rear...... of car that is?

    When the car is very much warmed up the rear makes a squeeling kind of scraping brake noise as you pull away. Its intermitant and quite apparant when it starts doing it. Anyone has experience of similar thing?

    Similar experience:
    C2, 4,500 miles on the car, 1.5 hour driving.
    slight squeel / scraping noise most noticeable at 35-50mph
    definitely follows speed of car - faster speed, more frequent squeels stopping at a rolling stop
    very intermittent - have only heard once now in last 300 miles.
    I will continue to listen; let me know if learn more.
