    Germany pickup date

    Planning stage for a '08 C4S to coincide with a trip to Europe. How far in advance does Porsche notify you of your factory pickup date? Do they adhere to it? Once dropped off at the port, how long before it's back in your possession (shipment to a New York based dealer)?

    I believe I was notified in June for my September Grand Tour pickup date - 2007 C4S Cab ( about 3 months before).

    It took approximately 2 weeks from port to dealer-seemed like 2 years ( San Diego to Monterey, CA).

    Assume about 45 days from drop-off in Stuttgart to delivery to US East coast. A little more to the West coast because its longer by ship.
