    New FL Atlas Grey

    Hi

    My first post of my new Altas Grey FL car, hope pictures come out....never done that before.

    Congrats!!!
    Simply...one of the best looking FL I have seen. does the color change at night? They say atlas has 2 or 3 different color shades? Pls share your experience.

    Nice car: Congrats..., BUT:

    Uh..., those rotors look like serious [expletive]. You can't live like that. Dry the brakes after washing by driving the car.

    My fearful suspicion (not sure if true): Eventually the rust will build up inside the vent channels and also grab and hold dust and reduce performance by insulating brakes from proper cooling.

    looks aweseome. annoying how porsche shuffles the "special colors" and make you pay thousands extra for a color that was not special one year ago. makes me wonder what justifies the extra expense, since it's clearly not the paint itself. marketing. what color is the interior? great looking car.

    It would make reasonable sense that when porsche wants to phase out a color, they put it on the right side of the catalogue...the special color side.
    But some colors like GT silver has been around for ages! I thinking that is a pure marketing strategy!!!

    Thanks for all the comments.

    Wife's birthday on the 26th, but keep in touch around arrangements, maybe I can sneak away!

    The colour is brilliant, I was worried about it, was going to go for Meteor Grey....but I do love it. In sunlight - it looks dark blue and at night, it looks light black....just brilliant. I haven't seen it look Grey yet,I guess I need a lot of sunlight - and we haven't had that in the UK yet!

    Thanks for tip on the brakes....I wondered why they went that colour and then were clean the next day, I'll drive it off immediately next time.
