I use a leaf blower to dry my cars. Its incredible. It gets all the water out of the nooks and crannies that even the thirstiest towls can't get to. I also do the wheels and it get water out of even the brake area so I don't get the rusty stains. It looks crazy to your neighbors but it works great. Plus to risk of scratching your car! I follow up with detail drying with a towel though, for the door jambs and such.

Mee Too! A general blow to get rid off most of the water on hood and top. Then concentrate on areas like between the lights lenses and body panels, the wheels especially. This followed by an easy wipe with mircofiber drying cloths. Then I go over the wheels with compressed air on the brake calipers and rotors. Always follow that with a short (or long) drive to heat up the brakes to dry the mechanism thoroughly.

why didn't I think of that...geesh after years of carefully avoinding swirls and scratches when drying... f-the neighbors they think I'm nuts for cleaning my cars too much anyway.
Sir... is the blower strapped to your back or can we get those that don't have to be?
