    Non-smoking Package for 987?

    Remember the non-smoking package for the 986 and 996, which replaced the standard ashtray with a small coin tray w/rubberized bottom? It was a simple DIY mod that added utility and streamlined the center console.

    Anyone know if such a part exists for the 987? Thanks.

    The best part about this would be a place for my cell phone. The thing about the interior of my 987 is i have no where to put my phone, aside from under the radio but I don't like it down there because it's too hard to grab...

    That's where I put my phone. I put a big chunk of foam in that hole to make it more shallow--now I can grab the phone easily.
