Shop Manual

Does anyone know where I can purchase the shop manual for the 997 TT? I've heard the cost is about $150 USD. I tried techinfo.porsche.com to no avail.

If you find a manual for sale, let the forum know. I have tried Bentley, Hayes, etc with no luck.

Go to Document Search, then Vehicle Search. Pick 997 Turbo.

$150 for the entire manual? Not likely. If you can convince Porsche to even get you one, the price will likely be 10 fold.

I paid $150, just for the Engine Shop Manual and associated components. Good information and clearly written for car mechanics.

I downloaded it from the site mentioned above. It is about 160 pages in length, just for the engine, on of several volumes. You have to register and pay to download the different volumes. You may also be able to order it through a dealer or aftermarket supplier.

Ok, what am I doing wrong? I created an account on techinfo.porsche.com. I go to Document Search, then Vehicle Search. On the Vehicle Search page I set the Model to 911 TURBO - (997) and then look through every Group to no avail. Perhaps the documents that can bee seen are different for each account? Help!

I had the same problem....think one has to go thru Porsche NA....asked at the dealer...said no manuals available, but maybe can download some engine info via the Porsche NA.
