    Facelift on April 2007?

    Hi again
    Hope everyone's fine
    I've got some information that i'd like to share with you.. We were having dinner tonight and one of my friends told me that our local dealer here in Dubai told him that the facelift will be available on March, 2007...
    Well.. one year to go if this was accurate
    Things I really hope and wish:
    Tangible power increase in the new facelift...
    Quality problems disappear(vibration.. noise..etc)
    and .. the thing which i really wish is for porsche to stop converting the body of Cayenne and Cayenne S to cayenne turbo because i really see it unfair..

    March of next year is a good guess. However, indications are that Porsche will do something for '07 (because the facelift will have to be an '08, if not an '07.5). Maybe more standard equipment? If a 350 HP Q7 with every option can't get over US$60,000, I do see it as a tempting alternative, since a Cayenne with not even all the same options is well into the mid- to upper 70s.

    Maybe I should've waited before picking up the Cayenne, but it is such a great vehicle...

    Everybody on this board agrees that the facelift will be due around summer of '07. Question is only if it will be before factory holidays or after. I am currently expecting a may delivery on my cayenne turbo. would hate to see the facelifted around beginning of the year.

    i heard another rumour that porsche might change the model introduction cycle from summer to winter. this would definitely mean january or february intro.

    actually what REALLY surprises me is how little buzz there is on the net about this facelift. People are already talking about Panamera but not about Cayenne facelift. And only very very few spypics on the net. This fact seems very very strange and could mean Porsche postponed it ?

    I have a hunch, just a hunch, that the facelift will appear this year. That must be the reason things are so quiet. Porsche doesn't want the current model to languish on the lots. If I tell you the facelift is coming this summer, will you go out to buy a '06 model now?

    too late. made payment last week for cayenne turbo. was thinking of turbo s but car as ordered was already over 110k and i thought....enough...

    all i can do now is hope facelift does not show up before mid next year !!!

    In your case, I don't think it matters. The car you ordered is already near the top of the power range. If you wanted faster, you could've chosen the Turbo S. The facelift is more important to the 6 cylinder and the Cayenne S buyers, who would get increased power.
    As far as looks goes, I don't think there's much to be gained (or lost) with the facelift. It just looks somewhat different, not necessarily better or worse.

    I got to the local dealer this weekend, to buy a (white) Cayenne (2 months old) that was in the showroom,... but it seems to be sold. When I asked the dealer the delivery time for a new one, he told me august, BUT that in 02/07 the Cayenne will be avaulable with a facelift, and he told me I could better wait untill then !

    Went to the dealership to purchase a 997 but also asked about getting a Cayenne to replace my ML 320. Dealership advised me to wait a few more months till October because the new Cayenne are coming out by the end of the year. At that time, I can either buy the new one or get the 06 model at a big discount

    I have heard in Dubai that the face liff will be available in limited numbers in march 07 & will be sold to "select" customers. General public will get it in september 07. I dont know if this is a fact or just a rumor but i wanted to give a deposit for the face lift & they wouldnt take it.

    On another note, the audi dealers took a deposit on a Q7 from my friend but when i went there they said that they had all wrong specs given to them by management & therefore they were not accepting deposits anymore. They expect to sell Q7 in April. I kinda like it but some times it reminds me of a station wagon!

    I spoke with my dealer about the Cayenne. He told me '07 model will not be available to Feb or March '07. However, there will be a special addition of the '06 available in June.

    My dealer takes deposit, and told me that in JAn 07, the car will be available.
    Also told me that the V6 will be a 3,6l instead of the 3,2 now

    What did the dealer say about the special edition (which is only for the US, not ROW)?
