430 F1/Manual split

When Ferarri introduced the 430, I heard there was going to be a 80/20 split for F1/Manual transmissions. So far, I haven't seen any manuals...is it because they all got gobbled up by the die-hards or did Ferarri abandon the manuals and stick to the F1s? Anyone know about this/have a manual? My friend is looking into purchasing one (bastard!) so he was interested in the possibility of manual...

There are 3-pedal cars out there, but fewer than anyone guessed. Ferrari of San Francisco is getting only 3 or 4 for the first year of production.

I think someone post a pic of F430 Manual long time ago. Don't recall the link. You can try to do a search. It looks like an add-on. Someone told me that it is only 1 in 12. Don't take my words though.

May be 1/12 in early production, 1/5 is the overall production?

Why is that?

I never heard that the manual tranny on ferrari's are bad or have problems. So why is everyone buying F430 F1 ?

For a sports car enthusiast, a stick is still the way to go, or is it?

I mean, if it's not for every day use (it's the case for 90% of ferrari drivers who don't want more than 20.000 miles on the clock of their baby), why don't they choose a manual?

Imagine that porsche introucd an F1 transmission for the 997 or the famous DSG gearbox, what would happen then? Every porsche would end up being ordered with automatic transmsission

Even without DSG, 996 C4S tip was the top saler in US.

Because theres a big difference between people who can afford 100k plus cars and people who know how to drive them (no offense, because most people on this forum actually know things about cars)...
