    World Rally Championship (Deutschland Pics)

    Well I spent the past Saturday with a few of my buddies and we enjoyed a sun soaked day in the Rheinland and Saarland states watching the top teams and private teams head to head in the WRC and JWRC. It's the sixth year it was held in Trier and the sixth consecutive year Sebastian Loeb won it.

    Heres a look into my 400+ shots, most notably is the 964 Rallye!

    Did they run a classic car race as well as the main WRC event? Would love to see more classic car photos!

    Camera setup is Canon 30D with 70-200 4L IS lens and B+W polarized filter.

    The classic cars were in the show program between the two runs at the same stage (after all cars from the main-field were away).

    And Walter Röhrl never won a title in the Audi! He won once with Opel in the Ascona 400 and once in the Fiat 131

    Yes, instead he took the Audi S1 to Pikes Peak domination!

    True. While Röhrl won the drivers' championship on the Opel, Audi won the manufacturers' championship with the quattro.
