Thoughts on the pros and cons: Jeep GC SRT vs a Porsche Macan S?
I don't think you can compare both. The Jeep GC SRT is much bigger than the Macan S, both actually follow different concepts in my opinion. I would rather compare the Jeep GC SRT with a Cayenne S or even Turbo.

This is one fast Jeep SRT. Out sprints a 991 TTS

Lars997:Insane.
But - I like to see standard cars to compete to each other. If you go by tuning you always can find creepy cars which out-perform super cars.
I still wonder if Chrysler will offer a Hellcat equipped Jeep at some point. The Hellcat engine would suit a 4WD SUV best in my opinion.

I'm with you and find the absurdity of 707hp in a soccer mom-mobile oddly compelling. However, reports are the Trackhawk won't have 4WD due to transmission issues.
If so, the taller, heavier, tippier Jeep will wrap itself around even more telephone poles than the Charger and Challenger.

I heard that a couple of Hellcat Chargers and Challengers have crashed, this car is way too cheap for its power and many drivers without skills are tempted.
I would never buy a Hellcat Jeep without AWD and I cannot really imagine that Chrysler would build such a car.
Chrysler could limit power and torque (lets say 600 hp and "only" 30% more torque than the current SRT) and voila, AWD shouldn't be a problem anymore. Would still sell very well in my opinion.

Sounds good...if true. Heard similar stuff before, so lets keep our fingers crossed.

I am pretty sure that this car won't be available in Europe though and I am not so sure a grey import will be a good idea for various reasons (parts availability, durability, etc.). The current SRT is available as an official import but I have the feeling that Chrysler won't offer the Hellcat version in Europe. What a shame.

Lars997:Same like Challenger and Charger.... both not available in Germany
Why the hell you would not see that car in the only Country in the world where you are allowed to drive that thing as fast as it does?
I guess there are several issues:
1. Image (Chrysler belongs to Fiat and it could harm their environmental image in Europe, Ferrari is already an issue, even if not a big one)
2. Certification (the cars would need to be high speed/Autobahn proof and we all know that this isn't easy to achieve, since the development focused on drag racing and short distances)
3. CO2 output/fleet consumption (it could seriously harm Fiat's/Chrysler's record and they are selling more Diesel than Hellcat cars)
4. Pricing (with the current USD/EUR exchange rate, a Hellcat Jeep would likely be over 100k EUR in Germany, not sure how many customers would pay that kind of money over here)
