    Another Satisfied BMW M Customer

At IAA Frankfurt, a very unhappy BMW owner gives his M6 Coupe its final "adjustment."

Looks like about $80,000 worth of publicity for the owner's marble business..... Cheap.

My favorite comment on the article was BMW Big Money Waster!  It was just funny, not that I actually agree with the sentiment expressed; but the humor was humorous!yes

    1. The guy with the axe needs to make a spark between his two IQ points and figure out that the sharp end of an axe is the one you're supposed to use.

    2. He hits like a girl (a weak girl, don't get mad Suzzy)

    3. People like this piss me off. If you're having problems with a car do what any other angry customer would do, sell the thing, be extremely mad at the brand and never buy from them again. It's a car, at least once in your life something is going to go wrong with it and maybe get complicated. Meanwhile you want to throw a tantrum like a 4 year old baby who couldn't get the toy to work the way he wanted. Extremely immature, disrespectful, necessary and fuck!ng stupid.

Re: Another Satisfied BMW M Customer

Enmanuel, I get your point but you need to understand that frustration can go mysterious ways.

I do not know what issues the owner of the car had but in my experience, if the dealer cannot help (or doesn't want to help), there is ALWAYS another way without having to destroy a car.

What will this publicity stunt do for the owner? Nothing. The owner just closed ALL doors of a possible way to get a solution from BMW, BMW will not be interested anymore in talking to this guy and I can understand it.

From my experience, no matter how big the frustration, it is much more effective to try to find a way to talk to BMW directly if the dealer cannot help or isn't willing to help. Car manufacturers do not want customers to contact them directly, this is what the dealer is for but if car manufacturers sense that something is wrong in the relationship between the dealer and the customer, they jump in and usually try to satisfy the customer, sometimes even at the expense (and cost) of the dealership.

The video showing the destruction of the car makes me very very sad. I get the owner's frustration but this is not the way to handle it.

This guy must be deranged. No practical benefit  from his action. He is not defaming BMW but he makes himself look even more idiotic than he is. A laughing stock.

I hate pointless actions driven by despair.

Oh, btw: The owner of the car is the guy in the suit (video).

The question is why to use such harsh words without having any background informations about that case? Smiley

The dealyer tried to fix the problems, which do exist according to an expert evidence. The dealer told him, that BMW Italy is responsible for his case. BMW Italy said at the court, they don't have any obligations here, they are only the distributor. BMW Munich wrote, that this is on to the business responsabilities of BMW Italy. ...here you go...

Mental illness is everywhere.....but then again it's his money and he can do whatever he likes with it, as long as one is within the boundaries of the law.

Trust me...there is always a way...if you stay civil and don't immediately run to a lawyer. The moment the law department is involved, the chances to get a solution dropped. Smiley

Re: Another Satisfied BMW M Customer

No matter how pissed I was with the manufacturer, there is no way I could bring myself to do that. They just wanted to send a essage to potential BMW customers.

    No winners there then.

Thats quite the best way. Nonetheless I wouldn't call it - after ten attempts by the dealer to fix the car - "immediately running to lawyer", if that is true http://www.m5board.com/vbulletin/e60-m5-e61-m5-touring-discussion/303889-bmw-m6-owner-destroys-car-front-frankfurt-auto-show.html )
Italian feelings are running very fast high... Smiley
