    512 TR

    Thinking of a fun "classic" for the garage.....any feedback on the 512 TR??? Are there any problems with them? Is it worth owning one??? This will be in addition to a 993 cab & 997 TT Cab.

    Gr8 cars, much faster than the regular TR with over 190 mph top end. A Ferrari Mechanic in Beverly Hills told me that it was the best 12 Cyl, rear engine Ferrari ever. My friend has one and it has been very reliable. But my TT eats him every time

    The TR's are what say ferrari to me. A timeless shape that looks so good on a nice road. The lowness and width shout exotic.

    I own a TR 512 (93) with ABS a few years ago with Fuchs Exhaust. Being honest it's a café racer. Heavy, break system at high speed with problems, no real downforce at the front of the car. But if your like the look and the sound for cruising on a sunny sunday morning it's perfect. The build quality is far away from Porsche or modern Ferraris, but the engine sound is .

    I wish they did that shape again, but with modern technology and ground effects. That would be sick.

    Now with the Dino/California GT becoming the new entry Ferrari, we can hope for the F430 successor to become the new Testarossa.
