New York City Metro 2006 - Summer Gathering
Hey all,
After the great response I've gotten with the Hamptons Summer Drive suggestion, I've designed a poll (in conjunction with Nicholas J) to try and narrow down the dates that we can do this. Me and Nick J agree that Long Island/the Hamptons during July and August will be a little too crowded - and it is also a prime time for those with families to book vacations with their children. However, I included it as an option anyway. Before we go forward with planning the itinerary:
1) I'd like to get a better idea of which of these two June weekends are more preferrable for those attending. (If you want a weekend later in the summer, keep in mind that rates get more expensive as we get closer to Labor Day).

2) Where most people would like to start the drive. I know we have a lot of people from the surrounding states (NJ, CT) so this is significant. I think New York City is central to everyone's location, especially those North or West of the city (except for those of you already out on the Island, in which case we could pick you up along the way). If we are starting in NYC, I hope all of you have Valentine One's / Escort 8500's for those bad-a$$ cops on the Long Island Expressway
