    Seems like a great package, but don't like the black wheels, at least form the pictures doesn't look that good.

    Even Audi can make 480Hp cars, can you imagine driving your brand new expensive 997 S with powerful 355HP and being totally smoked by a Audi Kombi with five people inside, plus the dog on the rear trunk barking at your face

    0-200 kph in 17.3 seconds, even the current 996 C2 is slightly better (latest test I saw showed 16.9 seconds).
    Top speed on the Audi is 280, top speed on the 997 S will be in the 300 range.
    No, I don't think this Audi will smoke a 997 S on the straight line but of course this is a very interesting product for family fathers who need more luggage room. I prefer a SUV though, me and my wife are stationwagon "haters".

    1. Corpse cars (I hope this is the english word for it) are stationwagons in Germany (and probably most countries around the world)
    2. they look awful
    3. it is a "typical" car for soccer moms, frustrated fathers and salesmen (station wagon and turbo diesel engine ) over here in Europe and especially Germany
    4. there is not enough (head) room if you want for example to exchange diapers in such a car (I can see you have no children, Stephen... )
    5. in winter time, SUVs rule (I remember to be the only one who was able to exit a parking lot at my hotel after a night of snowing...and I could give you more examples )
    6. today I didn't find a parking space and I put my car in a dry "canal" next to the street (only possible with a SUV)

    To make it short: station wagon? NEVER.

    SUVs have one disadvantage only: fuel consumption and probably performance (well, not necessarily a problem for the ML55 or Cayenne Turbo ).

    Over here, all hearses (the word you were looking for) are Cadillac station wagons, purpose built. They never use Audis. They MIGHT use a 7 Passenger Cayenne, if someone really had to get underground fast!

    Over here, that's now what SUV's are. In California, by my scientific count, 95% of Hummers are driven my Moms on the way to cheerleading practice.

    That's not a big deal. The impressive thing is getting back out again! OK, you win on that one.

    And besides, a Cayenne's not really an SUV, it's a Porsche!

    I traded my Range Rover for this hotshoe Volvo wagon and wouldn't go back, just 'cause it's so much more fun to drive. A Cayenne Turbo would fit the same need.
