Dont know what they´re doing there.

Maybe Carlos will see one and tell us his opinion.

Yes, they are doing comparison tests for people on the Llucmajor track vs Audi R8, Jaguar f type, Merc GT, Mac 720, etc

On the LA show, they introduced the Carrera S and the Carrera 4S, both with the large width. Will this mean that the non-s models will have a narrower track width?

Based on what has been said so far in reviews and writen on a few articles I've read, it seems like there will be only one body width for all "standard" models. When the Turbo and GT variants come around that might change I assume.

Well the way the dash is designed it definitely needs the insert to complete the look, be it carbon or wood, or whatever other material porsche wants to put there.

Well, someone here noted that the average age of 911 owners is getting older... perhaps the new wood look will take the average age up to those who drove those iconic British cars .

I am pretty sure that Porsche knows what they're doing but I don't have to like it.

The Braun razor/shift makes a bit of sense when compared with the rest of the interior. However, the third brake lamp remains an anomaly on a rather attractive exterior design but will remain indifferent until one has the opportunity to view the car in person as photographs sometimes can be misleading. Returning to the wood trim in the interior, one finds the wood an interesting change of pace from the standard faux carbon fiber trim found on most sporty automobiles today.

The latest generation of Audi with touch screens have a special display cleaning mode to enable one to clean fingerprints off the touch screens without activating the controls. Unfortunately, this trend is the result of the iPhone and Tesla mindset towards high tech minimalism.

I see lots of little baby Braun shavers everywhere. Look at all the switches.

Life goes on. I want to test one. Not so much wrapped up in the looks inside or out. The cost is nuts though. Used Mac territory makes much more sense.

My interest for the car went from curious to zero. Front is the same as the previous car, rear is slightly modernized but the 3rd light, the spoiler and the light strip ruin it. Interior is not a surprise, but it is just a big nothing (will wait to see it in real for final comment). It is not modern, it is not classic, it is not elegant, it is not sporty, it is not sexy. It’s nothing. The price increase and the extra weight is just the cherry on the cake. Moving on, in 7 years my kids will be big enough and the rear seats of the 911 will become irrelevant, as will most likely be non EV cars.

The wood trim works much better here than in any previous Porsche model, where it was a no-no IMO.

Perhaps I'm getting old, but for decoration, I prefer this fresher carbon to the dead black kind. (I wonder if anyone makes carbon fiber caskets...)

Most of these joystick style shifters need a trigger button to engage while changing gear mode - is the shaver screen look-alike actually such a button...?

I have finally got used to this style on my RR, but it took some time.
