I would always be cautious about the claims of discounts on any 997 other than a C2/C2s...in the current market I do not see why the dealers would have any incentive to discoun
A lot of folks like to "crow" about the great deals they made, but I think it is mostly talk! Car dealers, particularly Porsche dealers are very aware of the market and seem to price accordingly.![]()

C4S,
I noticed your in LI also. I'm interested in where you ordered your 997TT where they would give you a discount. I ordered mine from Roslyn, which is close to where I live. My 03 X50 6sp. was discounted by $10K by Legend, BUT I do not feel the quality of service, expert advice, loaner cars, etc. were acceptable, so I switched to Roslyn (it could not be any worse). Ironically, Legend, had I ordered from them, was not offering a discount. Please PM me if your uncomfortable in responding in a public forum. TIA.

Hello "Devo,"
Very helpful info and you have got yourself a GREAT deal! I have not heard of a discount this big on a turbo so far. If I may ask please: This is a straight purchase/lease, there was NO trade-in involved? Also, I assume you are not married to the daughter of the dealership's owner or anything like that?
Thanks in advance.Quote:

California is usually priced higher than the rest of the nation with the exception of Florida. My Dealer is sold out at MSRP well into 08. Why would you discount a car that will easily sell for MSRP for along time to come??
