    Targa 4S FINALLY!!! it's here :)

    The car is really dirty. I told the porsche dealer to have winter rims & tires on when I get it, they called the day before and told me that Tire Rack f***d up and no winter disks for me, wait 5 weeks.. so I had to take a delivery with the summer tires and drove it ~700km on snow with summer tires. I will not advice anyone to attempt it. It is suicidal and requires extremely good driving skills.

    waiting 1 week from a local dealer for the winter discs and tires and will re-shoot it under sunlight

    Really nice combo

    A 911 gets dirty in no time. It's increadible. Go wash your car!

    Be carefull out there with your summer tires.

    I am not going to wash it I am waiting for the day with the least snow so I can drive it to the dealership and change rims & tires, driving will start then

    Now I finally do not care about facelifts, power up, etc... before I got it, it was kind-of irritating, now I know that I am very happy with what I got

    I decided to hold onto my 996 Targa until the facelift (and tide myself over with a new BMW!!). Now I'm not so certain . . .

    I waited too long to get my winter shoes from tirerack, now out of stock on the fronts rims till march! Ouch.

    Great car!

    Perhaps you even made the right decision: if the facelift really comes that early, you will have one of the few pre-facelift targa, what means low production numbers.

    BTW, did somebody already say "wash the car"?

    Black Sparrow, I really suggest if nothing else you rinse the car thoroughly, particularly wheels and arches and around the spoiler and engine compartment. I didn't do so for a bit and although it's minor, some of the bolts in the spoiler engine compartment rusted quite badly. PS you should have a good drive around your car park once you have done your rinsing to warm up the disks / rotors enough to stop them rusting.

    Beautiful car - like the interior - bold but classy at the same time!

    Two-tone interior: Black/Terracotta VERY nice.
    Congrats on the new ride.
    Too bad you had to get it all dirty on the first day.
    You gotta figure out a get all that salt off and clean her up.

    I admire your brass b#lls, though. I'd never even think about driving it on snow with summer tires. Not even 700 m, let alone 700 km.

    That is a really (dirty) beautiful automobile and combination of interior and exterior (dirty). Use it well and wait until the winter tires arrive. Cheers.
