    Custom Cayenne Options...

    Hey guys,

    I have been wondering about this question for a long time. Does Porsche allow 'Paint to Sample' on the Cayenne in all models? Is there an option for custom interior as well just like the Carrera's and such, like a two tone or matching gauges to the exterior? I have never seen anything about this so I thought I would ask you guys here. IMO, a Gaurds Red Cayenne Turbo with SportTechno's would look stunning. I know you can get SportTechno painted and every thing on the Cayenne. Would/Could Porsche do this for a customer? Thanks

    I've also seen a number of guards red Cayenne's. Colour is of course completely subjective, but I can't say that I liked it too much.

    I'm not sure why, but it just seemed a little over the top and dare I say it - tacky...

    I have to agree with mish, it is a tacky color on that monster jeep. we got one in the neighborhood here he got 22 gemballas on it, still the red looks better on a 911 than a cayenne. it looks like a fire truck on the cayenne (not even the big red ones those helper fire trucks :P)

    I can see how it can be a little too much or tacky. I just thought it would be apealing to see a Cayenne in a different color than all the Regulars. So I guess they can do paint to sample then?

    Of course Porsche will paint anything to match your sample...it's only a matter of money (I don't remember the exact number, but here in the US it was several $1000's--yikes!)

    no,porsche do not do colour to sample on the cayenne. On the 911 and boxster, they do.

    Where have you seen the Guard's Red? The Cayenne line does not offer Paint to Sample, unfortunately.

    Are these Porsche Factory jobs? I have been told repeatedly that there are no special order paint jobs from the factory.

    exactly, stephen, there arent. These are all custom jobs.I even saw a burnt orange CTT at the factory,but it was a custom job done for the sportsdriving school.
