    On Delivery - get a printout?

    So, when a new car is delivered, is it acceptable to demand a vehicle printout that contains all the data store in it (over revs at each level, etc)?

    Do PCNA or dealers hold that data as 'sacred personal info' or should they be willing to part with the data for the buyer?

    I'd like to know what has been done to the car before I take ownership... to make sure any issues related to test drives in Germany or by customs officials or the dealer before delivery are clear to me.

    I do not see why not. However, for new cars I doubt that there is any foul play. As I understand PAG ships cars in limp mode and that is removed by the dealer during the PPI.

    It is perfectly acceptable and it would be foolish not to know everything about a car you about to buy.

    As Adias said, this is more of a used car issue. Porsche makes so many cars, it is unlikely yours was singled out for abuse. The customs/prep people see Turbos and GT3s everyday.
