    Does the R8 finally get alum. shift paddles to replace the tacky plastic ones, like this TT-S? Or is the alum. only a DSG item?

    DSG = S-tronic

    I dont know for R8, but for TT its possible to buy after market carbon shift paddles. They are also bigger than standard paddles, which is big help in corners (standard paddles are too small and makes shifting a little harder when wheel is turned).

    1395kg not 1450kg and 0-100 in 5.0 for S-Tronic and 5.2 for manual transmission ;-)
