    Check Engine Light on 2003 Turbo

    Anyone know what might be the cause for my CEL on my 2003 turbo, when I started the car in the morning. Car drives perfect, but with the light remaining on, any suggestions would be great!

    Maybe the MAF?

    Mine comes and goes too. My evaluations cause me to believe that mine will most likely go out after I fill the gas tank. Wha?

    Go to Autozone and borrow their CEL reader, then get the error code number and you'll know what the CEL is for.

    should be minor, 02 sensor,cat etc...get the codes.

    I was getting periodic CEL's, then codes for random cylinder misfires...car felt like it was running on four cylinders. I'd turn off the igniton, turn back on and it would clear...happened a number of times. Took it in and Porsche replaced the MAF under CPO warranty. You might try cleaning the MAF with CRC cleaner...just don't touch the resistor looking wire at the end.
