    Fully, fully agree. Unfortunately supercars need to be grabbing headlines these days apparently and seem to be less about tactility, it seems quite unlikely that it will ever happen.

    Love your thinking here!  I’m personally shocked that Ferrari hasn’t decided to break out its gated manual yet?  It seems so ripe for a brilliant car (and big profits).

    I also support it in a McLaren, but would be far more surprised to see it.

    there are a lot of people screaming for such a car - hence the success of Singer or the change from some owners from the modern stuff to the young-timers again indicates this clearly - me for example having rediscovered the joy of driving 997'RS's. If money no object I believe that the T50 will tick the most boxes for those enthusiasts that love a modern interpretation. A F40/F50 surely has always had the analog driving feel. I do not think that the manual gearbox will come back - unfortunately - but surely some youngtimers will be hugely appealing again for those who had it all.

    Love your thinking here!  I’m personally shocked that Ferrari hasn’t decided to break out its gated manual yet?  It seems so ripe for a brilliant car (and big profits).

    I also support it in a McLaren, but would be far more surprised to see it.

    For Ferrari, I think it is a no brainer.  easy for them to do (I have heard rumors its under consideration).

    More difficult for McLaren as the last manual they built was the F1.  McLaren does tout MSO's capabilities so they should be able to rise to the challenge.

    The SCG 004S.

    Not sold on its looks and I think NA V10 > V8 (GM), but I see the appeal with the 3-seat configuration, MT, power output... Price?

    I wouldn't rely too much on manufacturers like Glickenhaus. Future EU laws are already cutting down on exemptions for small manufacturers, soon these small manufacturers will have to fulfil the same certifications the big ones do. Game over for them then I'm afraid. Unless they come up with something completely new and innovative (which I doubt). When the EU does this, California and the US won't be far behind, maybe there are even plans in California to do this? For ICEs, the air is getting thinner and looking at Ferrari's next project, the Purosangue, a SUV, I would rather expect a SUV from McLaren as well at some point, rather than some special sports car.  angry

    Car manufacturers need to make money, the competition has grown and even small producers cannot ignore market demands (or new regulations for that matter) anymore.
