    PDI.........Where?

    Does anyone know if the cars are PDI'd (pre-delivery-inspection) are done at the dealers before collection or the factory before shipping ?

    always at dealer thats why it called
    pre delivery and not pre shipment

    ITs purpose is for the dealer to confirm that everything is ordered/speced/and delivered as requested by the customer..


    Also put's in operation mode any functions of the car,mostrly electronical nature, that are in "inactive" mode when leaving the factory...;)

    Mmmmm.....what about Porsche Euro Imports coming straight from the factory to UK ?

    PDI are not done at the dealership in the U.S. They generally go to the PDI center first after unloading off the ship then the cars get trucked to the dealership.
