    Re: SLR

Here's a thought, why couldn't ABC be used?

    Re: SLR

Acording to Portuguese Mag who reviewed the car in South Africa, the only downside was the moderation of the brakes.

Also they say that when the brakes are cold they make a sound than even a def person goes nuts.

Well, i think that with these "last minute" changes, the SLR wich was already awsome is now super awsome.

    Cheers People.

PS-CF, i took a video yesterday called VOX_Porsche_Carrera_GT_Test_Drive.Mpeg....Is that you???
Car looks greats...Congractulations on your new babe.

    Re: SLR facelift necessary...

with regards to the 2004 mclaren F1 car, some design tweaks to the SLR's nose are IMO essential!! (note the attach)

Well, after that Melbourne result I think it's better to leave SLR's nose untouched...

Yeah, but at the rate the McLaren car is going right now...they might want to hold off on making anything look like that

Mate, there is a big difference between the SLR and the 65 cars, 0-150mph in the SLR takes around 15-16 seconds, the 600+bhp 65 cars? 19.8 seconds!

So performance is not a comparison, and the SLR is in a completely different league, it drives completely different. The redesigned comfort suspension (hoping) should make the car a Mercedes again, and it is a tad expensive when compared to the SL55, but you see, they are completely different cars, and the SLR will blow the doors off of any other Mercedes...

Why do I feel like I have been down this road so many times before? I need a rest

Will it blow the doors off the CLK-GTR?

    Will anything?

Seriously, it might give the 600bhp versions a run for their money, but the 700bhp+ AMG Specials are an altogether different story!
